An 80% Indica strain, Watermelon Kush Kief is said to have an intense euphoric feeling with is very uplifting and energizing, something not normally found within the more traditional types of Indica strains. The buds are large and dense, and they are prized highly for their superior yield and content of THC. Patients who medicate with this strain will usually do so for the relaxing narcotic effects that it has, very useful for stimulating the appetite or using it as an aid to sleeplessness. As you may expect, the aroma of this strain is very distinctively watermelon with a little bit of grape thrown in. Some users also say that there is a slightly hashy smell. The flavour is quite a treat, especially for those who are looking for a change from the “traditional” marijuana. It is easy to pick out the sweet taste of not only watermelon but also strawberry and other berries.

What is Kief?

Kief refers to the resinous trichomes of cannabis that may accumulate in containers or be sifted from loose, dry cannabis flowers with a mesh screen or sieve. Kief contains a much higher concentration of psychoactive cannabinoids, such as THC, than that of the cannabis flowers from which it is derived. Traditionally, kief has been pressed into cakes of hashish for convenience in storage but can be vaporized or smoked in either form.

Kief refers to the resin glands which contain the terpenes and cannabinoids that make cannabis so unique. While marijuana sans kief still contains cannabinoids, the resin glands that develop on flower buds pack the biggest punch.

    I’m a 35+ year smoker of hash. Over the last few years I have heard of products like kief and was curious though never tried it. Heck back in my day we didn’t even know what good weed was until the mid nineties when we started getting good bud from the West coast. Smoke like OG Kush, Bruce Banner and White widow and the new generation of East coasters smoked it up by the kilos. Then products like shatter and kief appeared so I read some reviews and asked some friends, deciding then to try this product. It’s fantastic stuff! On it’s own with some tobacco or sprinkled across the top of your joint or bowl for a real kicker! Excellent, will be buying again! Five stars hands down.

    I have primarily smoked hash for the last 35+ years but upon discovering kief I have taken a real liking to it. This strain is a lovely one, I coat a bed of tobacco with it and get high and sometimes I sprinkle some across the top of my hash joint and get wrecked! This is worth every penny and then some. If you like kief you won’t be disappointed with this product.
